1. When does Kerala Blog Express 6 take place?

   Kerala Blog Express season 6 will be flagged off on 21st March 2019 if you're an international participant. *(Dates might change later)

2. Why are there two trips this year?

   Building on the success of the past editions, this year Kerala Tourism has decided to enable more content creators, bloggers and social media influencers to participate.

   So this year we'll have two back to back trips - one for the Indian participants and second one for the International participants

3. Who can participate?

   Any digital media influencer above the age of 18, who has a valid passport and would like to embark on a trip of a lifetime with fellow travellers can take part in the Kerala Blog Express.

4. Who can nominate influencers?

   Anyone with a valid email ID can submit nominations on www.keralablogexpress.com.

5. How will participants be selected?

   Country of origin, the number of nominations received, social media reach, quality of the content and how the content (blogs articles, youtube videos etc) ranks in search engines will be taken into account. Public endorsement is only one of the many criteria.

6. When will I know if I’ve been selected?

   You’ll receive a personal email if you’ve made it to the Kerala Blog Express.

7. How many participants will be selected?

   30 bloggers on each trip, although the number of bloggers selected could vary depending on the number of seats available in the luxury coach.

8. I had registered last year. Can I do it this year?

   Yes; however previous winners cannot participate.

About the trip

9. Can I bring spouse/partner for this trip?

   No, we do not allow partners to accompany participants for the trip.

10. Can I plan the itinerary?

    You are welcome to mail us your suggestions. It would be considered while finalizing the itinerary.

11. What is the duration of the trip?

    It will be a two-week trip which will cover Kerala from South to North.

12. What are the benefits included in this trip?

    Food, accommodation and travel all across Kerala will be borne by us.

13. What are the benefits excluded in this trip?

    Airline tickets*, visa expenses and personal expenses. *Please see the FAQ on airline tickets for the details on reimbursement

14. Will Kerala Tourism pay for my travel to and from India?

    For the international participant, 70% of the total airfare or 1000 USD, whichever is less, will be reimbursed by us at the end of the road trip.

15. Will I be provided with an Internet connection?

    Wi-Fi will be provided in most places to share your experiences on the go and we will also pass on a data Sim Card.

16. What am I supposed to do during the trip?

    As a travel enthusiast, you need to document your journey through your social media handles and blog/vlog about your experiences during the Kerala Blog Express. It includes stay, activities as well as mentioning brand association. Online engagement through social media like Facebook, Twitter, Blog and Instagram will be required. More information will be shared during the briefing session before the start of the trip.

17. What is the type of accommodation provided?

    Your accommodation will be arranged in top category hotels and resorts across Kerala.

18. What is the mode of transport?

    You will be travelling in a customised luxury coach.

19. Do I get Travel Insurance?

    You have to take your own insurance for the trip.

20. Will I be able to go back mid-way through the trip?

    Although we cannot force you to stay with us, we hope you will be with us till the end of trip.
